Why do you need this safe? Let us tell you:
It is logical to say that you as the gun owner are responsibility to ensure that your firearm(s) are properly secured when not on your person.
We will probably all agree that the safest place for your gun in on your hip or in your 1100 lbs, fire protection up to 1350 degree safe with 3/16" thick wall,
1/2" thick door with 12 chrome plated bolts and electronic lock.
Your gun should be on your person any time time you leave the house. However you can not haul your 1100 lbs safe along everywhere.
The industry has been seriously lacking with regards to a solution when you are out there carrying and driving a motor vehicle. UNTIL NOW THAT IS!.....
Originally developed to be able to store your handgun in when you absolutely needed to go where you are not allowed to go while carrying your sidearm under your state's carry permit laws. However, this safe can be used to secure just about anything in almost any situation.

Examples of uses for the safe:

The Basics:
We have two sizes,
"Medium" (8.25" X 6" X 1.75") and
"Large" (9.5" X 6.5" 1.75").
Both have the same basic operating principals, just the size is different.
Constructed from 21 gauge steel.

How to use/install the safe:
There many ways to install the safe in your car but we will describe two:
1- You can mount the safe directly to the car using the two pre-drilled holes in the lower half of the safe.
Or,
2- The most versatile method is to use the 3 foot metal braided security cable by attaching it to a fixed object in your car.
HOW TO INSTALL THE SAFE WITH THE SECURITY CABLE:
- Run small cable loop around fixed object. E.g. seat track of car, plumbing pipe in hotel room or bed frame.
- Push large loop over the latching bracket on the bottom half of the safe (remove foam if needed) and place cable in the notch in the side of the bottom half.
- The safe is now ready to secure your property or remain in place until you are ready to use it. Out of sight is out of mind!

HOW TO USE THE SAFE:
- Retrieve the safe from under your seat (or other hidden location).
- Unlock the safe and insert (or remove) your gun/valuables.
- You can start carrying your gun or enter the location where you are not legally allowed to carry a gun.

Technical Specs on the safe
- Comes with two holes pre-drilled in the bottom to be able to mount it directly to your car trunk of even inside the passenger compartment or mount it to
your motor cycle.
- Comes with a 3 foot long security cable that can be used to fasten the safe e.g. to you car seat rails. It works very simple: open the safe and place
your gun/valuables in the safe, insert the security cable into a special slot in the safe's edge, close and lock the safe.
- It is painted black to be less conspicuous when mounted in the interior of a car.
- Small enough to fit in your bag, big enough to store most full frame handguns. The sizes are "Medium" 8.25" X 6" X 1.75" and "Large"
9.5" X 6.5" 1.75".
- Constructed from 21 gauge steel.
- It comes with 2 keys for the quarter turn lock. If you order multiple safes you can specify if you want the safes to have all locks keyed to the same key.
One for her car, one for his car, yet only one key needed to open both safes!
